- Alan P is a research assistant at Longwood Gardens. He grows plants from all over the world as trials for conservatory display. In addition he leads the Clivia and Canna breeding program at Longwood and several tissue culture projects which deal with Chrysantheums and Cannas. Alan has an BS in biology and an MS in ornamental horitculture from Penn State
